Exhibition just like last year, about death.

With old and new artists, music and an altar

to light candles for deceased loved ones.

Villa Diepenvoorde presents,

Casa Pasado, the house of the bygone.

An annual theme surrounding All Souls' Day/Halloween/Dia de los Muertos/Samhain or whatever you want to call these days…

An exhibition about the 'bygone', 'that which no longer exists'.

When your soul has left your 'home', on to the back of life….

Also sometimes called 'death'.

Just like all the green that falls from the branches of the trees around this time, flutters to the ground and transforms into the crunchy 'dead leaves' under the wheels of your bike, to make way for new ones in the spring.

Death and rebirth, an endless cycle.

We asked a number of old and new artists to participate in this exhibition and to ask them about their visual perspective on this theme.

On October 31st, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, we will once again hold an opening evening with an altar for candles and/or photos of deceased loved ones.

All this with a musical accompaniment provided by EL Tigre Blanco and Miss Kitty Kat!
